A talented and creative software developer, Jim
Michmerhuizen is responsible for web applications and database development.
He has consulted at a senior level with HP, BBN, Delphi Communications,
Tylink, AT/Comm, Phoenix Technologies, Colorgen, Ziff-Davis, Intergraph/Optronix,
Granitar, Mass General Hospital, and others providing design, architectural
developement, and algorithm development. He brings more than 25
years experience to Abaramedia.
Jim holds a Bachelor's degree from Hope College with majors in Literature
and Philosophy and did his graduate work in Philosophy at Yale with
a McCormack Fellowship. Jim has taught at Northeastern University
and at ITT-Tech.
Also an accomplished musician, Jim began a project in 1990 called
The BachWorks. Using PC's and electronic music synthesizers, Jim
intends to create musically convincing recordings of all the JS
Bach keyboard compositions. To date he has completed 550 of the
nearly 900 keyboard works of JS Bach.
